985m voltage, the newly launched structure has two lanes and can lodge up to 3,200 vehicles per hour.

The bridge is part of the Phase 4 or Shindagha corridor improvement project, which extends 4.8 km from the intersection of Sheikh Rashid Road and Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Street to the intersection of Halcon in the street to the mine.

New bridge in Dubai

RTA is still committed to implementing Dubai leadership directives to address the growing urban and population needs of the Emirate along the corridor to Shindagha through the development of projects that improve the road network and traffic flow in the area.

As such, the new bridge will relieve congestion and significantly reduce travel time by 67 percent, from 12 minutes to 4 minutes, for motorists traveling from Jumeirah Street to Infinity Bridge through Al Mina Street, providing an uninterrupted traffic flow through the new bridge without the need to stop at the traffic signals.

Phase 4 also includes five additional bridges of a length of 3.1 km, designed for accommodation of 19,400 vehicles per Hor in all lanes.

The scope covers 4.8 km of improvements on the road, along with improvements to key surface intersections in Jumeirah Street, to the Street and Sheikh Sabah to the Ahmad Al Jaber al Sabah Street.

Two pedestrian bridges are also planned, one in Sheikh Rashid Road and one on the street to the mine.

Another key milestone is expected in the second quarter of 2025 with the scheduled completion of a three -lane bridge of 780 m that connects Infinity Bridge a Al Wasl Street through Al Mina Street.

Once operational, the bridge will admit up to 4,800 vehicles per hour.
